What to Watch in the Theater:
The Founder (PG13) is now in theaters. Interesting and entertaining film about the man who took someone else’s idea and ran with it, establishing one of the most recognizable brands in the world.
Our rating: 4.5 out of 5
A Dog’s Purpose (PG) opens today. Heartwarming film about the many lives of one dog, and how he finds his purpose in life. Decide for yourself about the controversy, but this movie deserves to be seen. Oh, and bring tissues – there will be tears.
Our rating: 4.75 out of 5
What to Watch at Home:
Good Kids (R) Flawed coming of age movie that borrows heavily from an earlier (and better) teen film. Good cast, but could’ve been something more.
Our rating: 3.17 out of 5
A Series of Unfortunate Events (TV-PG) Excellent adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s stories. From script to set design, this is a perfect vehicle for a great cast, especially Neil Patrick Harris as creepy Count Olaf and Patrick Warburton as the author. Exclusively available on Netflix streaming.
Our rating: 5 out of 5
