What to Watch in the Theater:
Baywatch (R) is in theaters now. Whether you watched the TV series or not, this is a great summer movie full of adventure, sun, beautiful bodies, and lots of adult humor and language. It’s a fun day at the beach (without the kiddies), despite the bad rap it’s been getting.

Wonder Woman (PG13) opens today. The DC universe has a major hit on its hands with this one. A wonder-filled movie with a strong and sympathetic female lead is just what the world needs right now. This origin story makes us want more of this superhero(ine)!

What to Watch at Home (Or Not):
Solace (R) This murder mystery with a psychic element is a bit reminiscent of another film, but holds its own in the thrills department. It has some interesting twists, one of which is Anthony Hopkins as a good guy!

Miss Hokusai (PG13) Our first historically-based anime, which was visually appealing but a bit hard to follow. This “slice of life” film was a bit lacking in plot, and we prefer our fantasy creatures to be actual characters in the story, rather than unexplained supernatural entities.
