What to Watch in the Theater:
Home Again (PG13) is in theaters now. This rom com dram is a fun film about family and embracing change. There’s a little something for everyone, with an extremely likable cast and some interesting plot points. It’s a warm fuzzy kind of story, and sometimes that’s just what you need.
Our rating: 4.17 out of 5

What to Watch at Home (Or Not):
Little Evil (TVMA) This comedy/horror from the genius behind Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil pales in comparison to that film. It has its funny bits and cool homages, and is entertaining, but just feels like it’s missing something.
Our rating: 3.5 out of 5

Collateral Beauty (PG13) This movie was panned for reasons we can’t fathom, so it was widely overlooked at the box office. We loved the variety of characters and the way they intertwined. It’s a beautiful, heart-wrenching story, that’s definitely worth a watch. Have plenty of tissues handy.
Our rating: 4.67 out of 5 (Max actually gave it a 7)

Kill Switch (R)  Unless you’re a big fan of playing first-person shooter video games, you’ll want to skip this movie. The SciFi premise is interesting, but it’s ruined by jumping back and forth into first-person POV, which is in itself hard to deal with. The story would make a good video game.
Our rating: 1.25 out of 5
